These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of scarperpets.com (the "Site") and any purchase you make from ScarperPets ("we", "us", "our"), operated by Marcus Valente, a sole trader based in 148 Miller Street, Inverness, IV2 3DL. By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

ScarperPets is a trading name operated by Marcus Valente, a sole trader based in Scotland. We are not a limited company. Contact us at hello@scarperpets.com or by post at 148 Miller Street, Inverness, IV2 3DL.

2. Orders and acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy, which we may accept or decline. A contract is formed only once we confirm your order by email. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including for suspected fraud, pricing errors, or stock unavailability, in which case you'll receive a full refund for that order.

3. Pricing and payment

All prices are shown in GBP and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors before an order is confirmed. Payment is taken at checkout via our payment processor; we do not store your full card details.

4. Fulfilment

Products are shipped directly from our supplier network on our behalf. Estimated delivery times are set out in our Shipping Policy. While we work with reliable suppliers, delivery estimates are not guaranteed delivery dates.

5. Your right to cancel

If you're a consumer in the UK, you have a legal right to cancel most orders within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations. See our Refund Policy for how to exercise this.

6. Product descriptions

We make reasonable efforts to describe products accurately, including colours, sizing, and features. Minor variations from product photos (packaging, exact shade) can occur and are not considered faults.

7. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the Site or products.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this Site — text, graphics, logos, and images — is owned by or licensed to ScarperPets and may not be copied or reused without permission.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, and any disputes will be handled in the courts of Scotland, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections in your own country of residence.
